Catching Monarch Butterflies

During Monarch Migration, we can hunt butterflies for science! Learn how to net butterflies like a pro, identify your finds, check them for tags, watch a tagging demo, and chat with butterfly nerds all about the monarch life cycle and migration. Some of the butterflies will be retained for ICT Bee Fest on September 27, where any additional monarchs will receive their tags.

What to expect:

• No paved trails; uneven grass surfaces. Distance under a mile.
• Nets provided.
• No Pets.
