Take a hike with the nerds at Grassland Groupies! These hikes are guided, but meant to be exploratory and relaxed. Attendees are encouraged to point out neat things they find and ask questions. There is no cost to attend.
We’ll be entering Pawnee Prairie Park from the East parking lot at the Tyler entrance. Main path is paved and about 1 mile out, 1 mile back (we may not cover the full distance). Short, optional, detours along dirt paths possible.
Hat, water bottle, comfortable shoes, and tick repellant recommended (just in case!). Please No Pets to give the best chance at seeing birds and other wildlife.
